Exactly what I was looking for, I MTB in Utah perfect light jacket to block wind and light rain. Folds down small enough to fit in a med size CamelBack. I normally wear LG ordered XL and fit is perfect on bike with room for light layering if needed on colder days.
I just started road cycling in May and have enjoyed the Gore short sleeve jerseys. With the seasons changing, I was curious to try out the Windstopper jacket and pants. I woke to 50 degrees, wind and rain yesterday -- ideal conditions to try out the jacket -- and I couldn't have been happier. Over the course of 35 miles, it was comfortable and made the ride enjoyable. It lives up to its promise of keeping out the wind and rain, yet is still lightweight and breathable. The fabric quality and craftsmanship is superb. I highly recommend adding this to your cycling apparel.
I wanted a lightweight Windstopper jacket that would fold small enough to fit in a jersey pocket, yet offer protection when the weather turns cool or I get caught in a light shower. This jacket does that - and more. The front pocket is a big plus for holding a cue sheet or the next energy bar or gel. Great fit and styling. Looks just as good off the bike as on it.
