Every little advantage counts in the fast and furious world of cyclocross, luckily Giant's TCX Advanced Pro 1 is loaded with advantages. The feather-light Advanced composite frame with D-Fuse composite seatpost weighs next to nothing, while Giant's tapered, full-composite, thru-axle OverDrive 2 fork rails muddy ruts with precision. Shimano hydraulic road disc brakes keep you upright with buttery smooth modulation and Shimano's 1x11 Ultegra drivetrain is paired with a Rotor 3D crankset to convert every watt into mixed-conditions forward motion. Plus, Giant P-CXR1 wheels slice through the mud-and-cowbell craziness on your way to the bell lap with the help of grippy, tubeless-ready Maxxis Mud Wrestler tires.

Giant’s OverDrive 2 delivers up to 30%-better cornering and sprinting stiffness and control than non-tapered front ends with:
1/2) 1 ¼-inch/1 ½-inch diameter bearings
3) 1 ¼-inch diameter Giant stem
4) Tapered fork steerer
5) Giant OverDrive steerer plug

    Comments:

Great Bike, super fun to ride, and great to race! The only thing I changed was handle bar width.
